Just new today

Just looking on the site. I am new but have been living with the dreaded HepC for approx. 20+ years. Have liver damage, still hoping for some cure. There must be more awareness for this disease, maybe it could be cured sooner.

    i agree.  hcv should be routinely screened with the other blood borne diseases.

    Welcome Cindy,

    I too have liver damage and have known about my HCV for 3 years, but have had it for what I believe is over 45 years. I just watched a documentary on HCV titles Silence is Deadly, by Kindra Anne Ruocco made in 2005. It is inspiring to know there are people out there trying to make changes even though their voices seem to fall on deaf ears in this country.

    We're all hoping for a cure, but just getting more awareness, education and research funding would make me happy.
